Q: Which companies need to report on SECR?

Any large UK company or LLP (meeting two of: £36m+ turnover, £18m+ balance sheet, 250+ employees), needs to report on SECR. We can help you work out if the rules apply.

Q: What data is required?

To work out carbon emissions, we mainly look at energy use (electricity, gas, transport fuel) plus business mileage where relevant, for the current and previous year. We’ll guide you step by step.

Q: Is SECR reporting separate from a Carbon Reduction Plan?

They are separate, but there is overlap. SECR is mandatory for qualifying businesses, while a Carbon Reduction Plan is often needed for tenders. If both are needed we can combine projects for efficiency.

Q: Can you provide accountancy support?
